The Mindset Change Cycle

The mindset change cycle explains the four steps necessary to successfully experience a mindset change.

This cycle is most powerful when someone wants to dispel limiting beliefs and replace them with empowering beliefs 

Now that you know what's going on in your head, decide if you like your thoughts, feelings, beliefs and actions. This step requires a non-judgmental frame of mind. Simply evaluate the situation and take note of what you don't like.

This step is about paying attention to thoughts, feelings, beliefs and actions. Before any changes can be made an inventory of the current situation is crucial. Journal, jot down notes or do what ever it takes to bring these things into awareness.

Reinforce the changes with affirmations, mantras and visualizations.  Create new pathways in your brain to your new thoughts, feelings, beliefs and actions by consciously making them real in your mind.

Evaluate 

Take the thoughts, feelings, beliefs and actions that you don't like and choose new ones. Identify how you would rather feel, think and believe. You have the power to control your thoughts. Identify what empowers you!
